WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER.

  • B.O.O.S.T. MENTORSHIP

As our flagship initiative, B.O.O.S.T. is a weekly after-school group mentorship program for boys and girls in grades 6- 12. Our program provides academic support, social and emotional learning, life-skills’ development and exposure to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math). Students are guided by mentors, staff and school personnel, on topics directly linked to age and community impacts.

  • 1-ON-1 MENTORSHIP

Our one-on-one program has matched over 800 mentees with caring adult role models. Mentees & Mentors meet biweekly in the community to do a fun activity based on their interests and goals. They receive consistent support from Zoe Safe House staff, and are provided with unique opportunities such as field trips and life skills workshops. Mentees develop important social and life skills and are able to access new opportunities through their mentor.

  • COMMUNITY LINKED EVENTS

We believe that community exposure is just as important as the mentorship work that we do. We expose our mentees, along with the help of volunteers, to arts of all kind and community service through partnerships. Through this their creativity, confidence, and skills to succeed dramatically improve. We have seen that this exposure contributes to the improvements in math, creativity, and language arts.
